How to Pay

Thank you for your AKB BOOKS order.

Your book will be despatched by courier within 24 hours. Please allow between 3 – 5 working days for the courier to deliver and ensure that someone is there during working hours to receive and sign for the book. If it is returned, you will be liable to pay an extra charge of Rs 50 for each time the book is re-sent to you.

IMPORTANT: Pre-orders will be shipped when the books are printed as per the announced date. Sons of Sita is delayed and is now scheduled for delivery in April.

Please pay the total sum due into the following ICICI Bank account – only via online transfer or cash deposit into any branch anywhere in India. (No cheques please!) Once you have made the payment, you can revisit this page to fill in the Payment Confirmation Form (below). If you have any queries or comments related to payment or delivery, please leave a comment below.

    Hi Ashwin,

    Your copy of VoR (hardcover) went out last week Monday. It should definitely have reached you by now. I can only assume that for some reason it was not delivered and is (probably) now on it’s way back… I will check with the courier on Monday and get back to you.

    Hope all’s fine with you. Just wanted to know by when will you be sending the VOR book, for which I had placed an order on 6th November 2009. I have already submitted payment confirmation form. Do kindly let me know.

    Well, I’m not sure if you received the updates on the printer delays with the hardcover edition or not, but coincidentally, the book finally goes out this week! I remember signing your copy (to Shreya Das Kunder, I think) – so it should be reaching you before end of this week!

    Thanks for your patience and I sincerely apologize for the long wait. It’s been as frustrating for me as an author to have to wait so long to get the correctly printed hardcover in my hands after many snafus and delays. (The paperback came out fine and went out end-December onwards by the way.)

    Yes, I did receive notifications on the delay of the VOR hard bound copies due to printing errors. And, yes, it was to be signed to Shreya Das Kunder. I haven’t received the copy yet…

    This is really kind of you.. The stapling was in fact on the bubble wrap (I’ve saved the whole thing assuming you would want a return)

    Hota hai, yaar. Sorry about it. Keep that copy, give it away, as you please, no problem.

    Am sending the replacement copy today by courier, it should reach you within a day or two. :~)
